Cobb County

Cobb County’s Tax Commissioner’s Office wasn’t trying to reinvent government. It was trying to make it work better. As services expanded and resident expectations rose, the challenge became clear: how do you make critical civic tasks more visible, more accessible, and more efficient, without adding burden to already-lean teams?

Led by Cobb County Tax Commissioner Carla Jackson, the office partnered with Yalo to increase visibility of services and guide residents toward faster, more efficient digital actions — for two divisions:

  • Property Tax Division
  • Motor Vehicle Division

  • Government & Municipality

The Goal

Our goal was to drive awareness while encouraging online renewal, registration, and exemption processes that save time for both residents and staff. The tool? Paid media management across Google Display, Meta, and Nextdoor to reach residents where they already spend time, with messaging focused on removing friction from essential civic tasks.

The Results

We didn’t just drive traffic. We drove smarter behavior. By pairing clear communication with precise media, Cobb County made government easier to use, setting the foundation for even more efficient, resident-first service ahead.
