The Strand

The Strand Theatre is a historic performing arts center that first opened its doors in 1935 as a movie theater. However, the building sat in disrepair until restored by community leaders in 2009. While it is a local go-to for concerts, theatre and movies, The Strand lacked a coherent identity and targeted media plan to drive not only ticket sales, but fundraising and donations. Our design system brought all their entertainment to life, and our paid media campaigns have helped show it to the world.


Highlights

  • Developed a graphic system that unified all entertainment types into a simple yet elegant grid with a color-coded scheme
  • Designed an updated art deco theme to nod back to their beginnings but also to their willingness to push forward
  • Launched paid media campaigns, which resulted in 11.42 return on ad spend (ROAS). In other words, for every dollar spent, they got $11.42.back.
